CONTACT YOUR CUNY STUDY ABROAD OFFICE FIRST

Before applying, you must reach out to your CUNY Campus's Study Abroad Office to see if there is paperwork that you have to fill out with them.

All majors are encouraged to apply given that the Eligibility Requirements are met.

**IMPORTANT:  If your semester abroad is your last semester of college, you will not be able to graduate until one semester later.  For example, if you study abroad in the Fall, you will not be able to graduate until the Spring because it takes us a while to receive your transcript.

Freshmen & Transfer Students: If this is your first semester at a 4-year CUNY, you are not eligible to study abroad yet since you need a GPA (this rule applies even if you transfer from a CUNY Community College).

When will I be eligible?

-Fall Freshmen/Transfer Students: Beginning Summer of that Academic Year (Eligible for Summer & Fall Programs)

-Spring Freshmen/Transfer Students: Beginning winter on next Academic Year (Eligible for next year's Winter & Spring Programs)

*No Exceptions*
