Studying Abroad does not have to be expensive. With proper planning, your semester/year abroad can be very affordable. The best thing to do is to plan ahead, save up, and look for scholarships early on.
There are many different kinds of scholarships that can help you to finance your semester/year abroad.

CUNY Scholarships
-SCHOLARSHIPS AT YOUR COLLEGE:

Internal Scholarships: Your college may have internal scholarships specifically for studying abroad. Look at your college's internal scholarship website.

CUNY Study Abroad Office Scholarships: Some CUNY Study Abroad Offices have scholarships for students studying abroad for a semester. Reach out to your Study Abroad Office to see if this is the case.​

French Department Scholarships: Some French Departments have a scholarship for students who will be studying abroad in France. Reach out to your French department for more information.

SEEK Scholarships: If you are a SEEK student, ask the SEEK Department if they have any scholarships for SEEK students.

Campus France Scholarship Search Engine
Campus France is a website that is used during the Visa Process. They have a Scholarship Search Engine, which allows you to look for different forms of financial assistance:
